Established in 1994, up to now Hung Duy Co., Ltd has over 20 years of operation. This is not a long time compared to many other businesses, but its is enough for Hung Duy to affirm his position and brand in the maket, despite staring with a modest finances, only a few hundred million VND.

According to Ms. Le Minh Truc, General Director of Hung Duy Company said that, in the early 1990s, her familly traded in construction iron and steel and produced tapioca starch on a small scale. At the time of establishment of the company in 1994, with only a charter finances of less than 300 million VND. Thanks to effective business, after less than 10 years of operation, the company’s reveune has reached more than 1.400 billion VND, paid the budget over 56 billion VND in 2013. However, what this businessswoman is most proud of is a company that has built for itself very sustainable steps with 4 core areas including: Distruction of goods, Trade in services, Industrial crops and Production of tapioca starch.

Growing up in family with a business tradition, from his grandfather’s time and being well-educated, after graduating from university with a major in business administration, businesswoman Le Minh Truc didn’t hesitate to enter the market, and was assigned to run Hung Duy Company. Although “weak legs and soft hands”, not much experience, but with enthusiasm and passion for the business, constanly learning and learning from those those who have gone before. Thanks to that, not long after, she turned Hung Duy Company from a small distributor to a leading distributor in Southeast region. And to become the top distributor in the country, together wwith parners such as: Vina Kyoei Steel, Binh Tay Steel Grid, Unilever, Kinh Đo, Kimberly Clark, Castrol BP, Vinamilk, Bourbon, Abbott, PV Oil,…

In the field of tapioca starch production, the Company has 2 factories, both invested in a closed production process, applying modern advance technology, and having a wastewater treatment system that A standard. Production capacity of nearly 600 tons of powder/day. On average, Hung Duy export over 100.000 tons of flour each years to China and other Asian markets. With a turnover of about 800 billion VND/ years.

In the service, the Company has been building Ca Na Trade & Entertainment Center with a total area of 50.000 m2 and has put into operation 50% of the items including:

• Wedding conference center with luxurious European architecture, capacity of 1.500 guests and a team of professional event organizers,

• Cafe with a campus designed based on the idea of a green paradise graden,

• Gym – a large scale fitness and beauty training center, with a professional and comfortable exercise machine,

• Tennis court with full equipment, competition standards and ball machines imported from Australia,

• The swimming pool applies DESJOYAUX technology that the world’s leading French, a morden filter systerm that is not harmful to skin,

• The remaining items such as: Trade center, water park, cinema, Etc, that are expected to be put into operration by the end of 2016.

Brand of the community

Thanks to effecrtive business, over the years, Hung Duy has made positive contributions to the development of the locality and has always been one of the leading enterprises participating in social securitu programs in Tay Ninh province. If in 2009 the Company paid 6 billion to the provincial budget, then in the following years, the budget payment to the province inscreased continously: in 2010 over 9 billion, in 2011 nearly 17 billion, in 2012 over 21 billion VND, in 2013 over 56 billion and nearly 57 billion in 2014. Remember, when the company was first established, the company had only 20 employees and so far the number of employees has reached nearly 1.000 people. The average income of Hung Duy employees is always in the top of the highest enterprises. In addition, benefits for employees are always guranteed such as: Health insurance, Social insurance and other benefits in accordance with the provisions of labor law, etc.

A very respectable feature  of Hung Duy is his charity work. Hung Duy’s charity work averages from 1 billion VND to 1.4 billion VND per years. Since 2010, the company has spent more than 7 billion VND to carry out social charity programs, contribute to the Fund for the Poor of the Province, repay gratitude, support poor student who are studious,..” Like many other businesses, we were also afffected by the economic crisis that made it difficult to do business, but it was all in the calculation. Charity is a responsibility. As long as Hung Duy is still alive, charity activities are still a social responsibilitiy and also a coporate culture”, Ms. Le Minh Truc shared.
