Hung Duy Group, located in Hoa Thanh Town, Tay Ninh Province, was originated from a traditional tapioca starch factory, operating only with the most basic equipment long before 1975 and producing approximately 2 tons of tapioca per day with the workforce of only 15 workers and the capacity of manufacturing 10 tons of fresh tapioca.
At the end of 1994, after a period of raising capital and manufacturing experience, Hung Duy Group was officially established. Along with the leadership of Mr. Le Huu Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and the synergy of 367 well-dedicated and highly-experienced employees, Hung Duy Group gradually dominates Tay Ninh market and affirms its position after 21 years of continuous evolution.
On acknowledging the importance of environmental protection and sustainable development, ever since the establishment of the project, the company has introduced specific management measures to limit negative impacts on the environment. In Tay Ninh, Hung Duy is one of the pioneer factories investing more than 10 billion VND in a biogas wastewater treatment system using Japanese technology.
Hung Duy Factory was built at a location with an abundant and high-quality source of fresh tapioca. Hung Duy’s tapioca starch is produced by a closed system using advanced technology and meeting the quality requirements for food safety and hygiene. With a view to keeping product quality under control and be able to handle in time, in addition to testing product samples at the laboratory, the company makes efforts to send samples to the Quality Assurance And Testing Center 3 to examine the quality before putting on the market.
With the equipment mainly imported from Japan, Thailand, India, Sweden and China, along with a team of experienced technicians, the production process at Hung Duy Factory is always looked over and kept under control precisely and strictly. Until this day, to meet the increasing export demand for tapioca starch, Hung Duy has invested in improving the Swedish latex centrifuge machines, upgrading the production capacity from 250 tons per day to 350 tons per day.
Starting as a small business, after 21 years of evolution, Hung Duy brand with the image of a red horse has been striving to become a large-scale enterprise with a commitment to quality and constantly building trust with partners from all around the world, for instance: Winning the Vietnam’s Strong Brand Award for 4 consecutive years, winning the National Quality Silver Award for 3 consecutive years, and most proudly, receiving the Third Class Labor Medal awarded by President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
